20 Oct Vintners Dinner Experience
Last weekend we hosted our first Vintners Dinner at the Cellar Door. The evening was designed for a small group of guests to dine with Ed and Dave in an exclusive location as they opened up wine from their personal cellars. Each wine served had a connection with the Swift family including special museum magnum stock as well as wine from select producers from other regions in Australia and the Champagne region.
The five course menu from Printhie Dining included Ocean trout crudo, with toasted rye, horseradish and pickled celery. Ballotine de poussin with wild mushroom and roasted yeast. As well as Marron, fennel with bergamot beurre blanc.
Guests started the evening with sparkling and oysters under the olive walk before moving into the ‘pavilion’. It was the first time we have hosted a dinner in front of the fire and we loved sharing it with these guests.
