CELLAR DOOR MANAGER

We’re looking for a professional Cellar Door Manager wanting to make a tree change to Orange – a vibrant, cosmopolitan city in regional NSW. This is a great opportunity to lead a team committed to delivering premium and memorable cellar door experiences that showcase our award winning wine. The Cellar Door Manager is responsible for running all aspects of Printhie’s tasting experiences. Previous Cellar Door experience required.

WAIT STAFF (Posted 26 August 2024)

Wyrallah Holdings Pty Ltd (Printhie Wines) is looking for full-time Wait Staff. Wyrallah Holdings Pty Ltd (Printhie Wines) is a Cellar Door, Restaurant and Wine Bar located 9km from the centre of Orange. Orange is located 3.5 hours from Sydney.

DUTIES

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:

  • Arranging tables and setting them up
  • Greeting customers and providing them with menus and beverage lists
  • Taking orders and passing them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Delivering food and beverages to guests
  • Opening and pouring beverages
  • Clearing tables and returning dishware and cutlery to the kitchen
  • Removing empty bottles and glasses, refilling or replacing them as necessary
  • Handling payments and operating point-of-sale systems
  • May suggest wine pairings to complement the meal
  • Handling bookings and be able to operate a booking system

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • AQF Certificate II or III qualification
  • At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be necessary in addition to formal qualifications.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a busy team environment across multiple spaces.

This is a fulltime position. Average 38 hours per week

Salary is in range of $65,000 – $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
