At Printhie Wines, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all our visitors.
Our Cellar Door is designed to allow everyone, regardless of their abilities, to enjoy our wines and beautiful view.
The Cellar Door was built in 2022 and meets all Australian Standards for accessibility. Key features include:
- Extra wide doorways
- No stairs
- Braille bathroom signage
- Accessible carpark close to the front door
- Exterior terrace has no steps or ramps
- There are clear paths of travel from outdoor to indoor areas
- Step-free access everywhere
- Wide self-opening entrance door
- Doorways are level – there are no changes in height at all
- Dedicated accessible toilet with baby changing facilities plus ambulant toilets in both the male and female bathrooms
- Water bowls are provided for assistance dogs
- Easily accessible tables provided for guests with mobility issues
- Low comfortable tub chairs provided for guests with mobility issues
- Large print menus can be provided on request
- Our staff are available to read information to guests if required
- We can assign staff who speak clearly and look at guests when talking if required
- All staff have pen and paper ready to assist with exchanging information
