Printhie Wines is a member of the Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia group providing premium ‘beyond the cellar door’ experiences. Experiences include tastings, vineyard picnics, fly fishing, a sparkling masterclass and a luxury helicopter winery tour. Our single vineyard wines, made in our own 750 tonne winery, represent the most defining element of the Orange Wine Region – elevation. Discover Printhie’s range of cool climate wines including the renowned Swift Sparkling range. With vineyards located from 630 metres above sea level to the highest vineyard in Australia at 1070 metres, you’ll receive an insight into the defining element of the Orange Wine Region – elevation. Please note that tasting fees are not redeemable.
Wine Club members will be treated to a bespoke wine tasting experience tailored to personal preferences and including access to Printhie’s flagship wines. Wine Club members are able to host up to 3 guests at no charge (total group size of 4).
Reserve your table at the Printhie Wine Bar. Wine available by the glass or bottle. You can select oysters shucked to order from Printhie’s innovative oyster tank to elevate your experience. Cheese platters and chef’s specials are also available. You will be seated outside on the terrace if weather permits. During the cooler months Wine Bar reservations are seated in the pavilion. Available Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday 11am to 4pm and Friday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
Savour the ultimate day-cation as you lounge on a picnic blanket, Printhie wine in hand, taking in the sensory delights of the surrounding vineyards, apple orchards and sweeping views of lush, rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Use your Printhie map to explore the estate, select your own perfect picnic spot, and then relax and enjoy lazy conversation as you relish the sweet and savoury gourmet treats in your picnic hamper prepared in the Printhie kitchen.
The Printhie Picnic experience also includes a guided tasting of selected Printhie wines where you’ll choose your favourite bottle of wine to be included in your picnic basket.
An immersive journey uncovering the art of traditional method sparkling. Hosted by one of Printhie’s Sparkling Specialists (either the winemaker or a member of the Swift family), it includes a private tasting of the Swift Sparkling range where you’ll be able to taste sparklings that are over a decade old. During the tasting, your guide will show you the vineyards used to create the range located just outside the Cellar Door. You’ll gain a rare insight into the process of creating one of Australia’s finest sparkling brands, from base wine to the disgorging and aging process. After your private tasting you’ll be escorted into Printhie Dining to enjoy a four course lunch with matching wines whilst taking in the commanding views over the valley below.
Awarded Best Sparkling at the NSW Wine awards for an unprecedented 6 consecutive years from 2018 to 2023 the Swift Sparkling range reflects exceptional cool climate craftsmanship that continues to raise the bar for Australian sparkling.

Enjoy the peaceful sounds of Printhie’s lake whilst learning the art of fly fishing. The private instructor can cater for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to try something new or an expert wanting to refine your technique, the two hours of private instructions are tailored to your preferences. If you are a beginner you will be shown how to rig the rod, how to cast and how to reel in your fish.
Your fly-fishing experience will be followed by a four-course degustation lunch or dinner including matching wines at Printhie Dining, where the chef team consciously craft menus that showcase premium local produce.

Once we receive your booking we will check the instructors availability and come back to you as soon as possible to confirm. Payment will be taken at that point.
The ultimate lux winery experience. Start your journey in style as a personal chauffeur collects you from your accommodation in Orange and drives you to the Printhie Cellar Door where your helicopter awaits. Enjoy a scenic flight to the Printhie Winery over the undulating landscape of the picturesque Orange wine region. Discover the history of the vineyards as the winemaker guides you around the winery. Savour a special tasting of wines in various stages of development in the winery and the barrel hall before boarding your helicopter for the return trip to the Printhie Cellar Door. Receive a glass of Swift sparkling on arrival and be escorted to your private cellar. Enjoy a private guided tasting of Printhie’s flagship wines before settling in for a four-course lunch at Printhie Dining with matching wines. Relax in the restaurant enjoying views of the orchard, vineyard and rolling hills below before being chauffeured home.
