We’re excited to announce that renowned Chef Justin North will be joining us to craft a special four-course French inspired dinner on Saturday 26 October. This event will showcase Justin’s exceptional french cuisine skills accompanied by a stellar selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Head Winemaker Drew Tuckwell has meticulously curated a line-up of wines for the night, featuring not only Printhie’s finest but also some stand out international additions. Each of the four courses will be served with two wines. During the evening you will hear from Justin and Drew about the curated menu and wine matchings. Justin will team up with Printhie Dining’s Head Chef, Chris Lees, to deliver this french inspired dining experience in Orange.
It’s a celebration of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at Printhie Wines this October. Join Head Winemaker, Drew Tuckwell, for an in-depth masterclass uncovering the secrets of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, considered to be the hero varieties of the Orange Wine Region.
This will be an immersive journey uncovering the secrets of these revered varieties starting with the traditional method Swift Sparkling range where you’ll be able to taste the 12 year old, closely guarded, 2012 Blanc de Blancs. You’ll also gain a rare insight into the process of creating one of Australia’s finest sparkling brands, from base wine to the disgorging and ageing process and how Printhie’s flagship single vineyard wines are crafted.

THE MASTERCLASS INCLUDES:
Join us for an evening hosted by Amanda Cordony, Food Editor of the Australian House & Garden, showcasing the perfect menu for summer entertaining. Sparkling and oysters (freshly shucked from Printhie’s onsite innovative oyster tank) will be served on arrival followed by an oyster shucking class from the Printhie Wines’ team. Amanda will then hold a cooking demonstration on how to create the perfect dishes for a summer menu.
Guests will progress into the dining room for a family style main course where Amanda will share her cooking and entertaining tips for the upcoming festive season. Printhie Dining’s chef team will prepare Amanda’s dishes and Ed Swift, owner of Printhie Wines will also talk about how best to match wines to your menu, including tips on the correct wine glasses to use.
A dessert demonstration by Amanda will follow with an insight into how to display and create a delicious dessert table. This evening will provide you with new ideas on how to set the scene for a summer of entertaining and crafting the perfect menu with matching wines. Guests will receive the exclusive recipe cards (via email) after the event.

The Cellar is a modern take on a traditional french champagne cave. It is partially submerged under the ancient volcanic soils of the extinct volcano Gaahna Bulla/Mt Canobolas creating a private inner sanctum for special dining events.
Offering views across the vineyard and undulating hills in the distance, settle in for lunch or dinner with exclusive use of the Printhie Dining restaurant.
For larger events the tasting room and adjoining pavilion turn into a spacious area for cocktail style events and celebrations. In winter the large fire place creates a comforting ambience and the tasting bench turns into an impressive bar.
The Pavilion offers the best of both worlds with views straight over the vineyards and private access to the terrace. Pre-dinner drinks under the olive trees will set the tone for a unique dining experience.
A relaxed alfresco dining experience at the ‘Chaff Shed’ situated next to the Printhie lake. The private dining table will be set ready for your arrival with seasonal charcuterie, cheese, salads, pastry and dessert. Wines and other drinks are pre-ordered and left in ice buckets ready for your private self-service long lunch. Available October to March.
