Topography Pinot Gris is a single vineyard wine that has been deliberately pushed stylistically further toward the richer, more viscous Alsatian style. A little bit of skin contact and time on lees gives this wine a beautiful copper colour, as well as good weight and texture to offset that racy acidity. We pair it with Kingfish at Printhie Dining, but it’s a wine that will match perfectly with any white fish, or your favourite spicy Thai. A wine that sells out every year before the next vintage is ready, definitely one to add to your next order.

Shanteh Wale Halliday Wine Companion Review: ”

From original vineyard plantings and eight different fermentation parcels, this is given the royal treatment. A rose gold glimmer in the glass. Alpine strawberry, Pink Lady apple and Bosc pear. Lily-of-the-valley florals and rose petals. There is a honeysuckle fragrance too. Supremely delicate and yet luxurious, this takes the Alsation approach but with the finesse of cool-climate Orange. It’s beautifully made and would be a glorious wine to pair with food.”

Wine Analysis

Alc – 13.5% pH - 3.43 TA – 5.7gL RS – 3.0gL

Wine Cellaring

Very appealing young and fresh but we would expect increasing richness with time and should evolve nicely over the next 3 to 5 years.
