A lovely expression of ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, this is definitely a softer, more vegetal wine than you might get from the hotter regions. Matured in 20% new oak as well as 1-3 year old French oak barrels, with 14 days on skins giving this wine great natural tannins and structure. Elegant and approachable with distinct notes of blackcurrant, red capsicum and pepper, our Cab Sauv goes well with BBQ and is a great lunchtime red.

Hard to resist as a young wine but it does has cellaring potential over the next 5-8 years.
