04 Aug 2021 Topography Pinot Gris is here!
The 2021 Topography Pinot Gris is now available! This is a single vineyard estate wine that has been deliberately pushed stylistically further toward the richer, more viscous Alsatian style – as opposed to the fresh, linear and sometimes tart Alto Adige stye. A slight bronzy colour from the skin contact, generous fruit aromas with a hint of savoury from fermentation and maturation in the oak foudre. It has varietal flavour with pear and quince. This is one of our most popular wines. Unfortunately we didn’t make any wines in 2020 due to smoke taint in our vineyards and we ran out of the 2019 vintage several months ago so it’s very exciting to release the 2021 vintage.
