Swift Sparkling is one of Australia’s best traditional method sparklings made from some of the highest vineyards in New South Wales on the slopes of the extinct volcano Mt Canobolas/Gaahna Bulla. In 2009 the Swift family recognised the potential of the Orange Wine Region to produce premium sparkling wines and the first Swift vintage was bottled in 2010. The high elevation and fertile volcanic soils of the Orange Wine Region provide the perfect growing conditions for sparkling varieties.
The Swift family’s dedication to traditional method sparkling is demonstrated by the patience required to ensure each bottle of Swift Sparkling has been aged to perfection before release. Hand crafted by winemaker Drew Tuckwell, the range spends an average five years on lees with some up to ten years for the flagship Blanc de Blancs.
Australia’s Champagne expert, Tyson Stelzer, inducted the Swift range into his Sparkling Hall of Fame in 2016 as ‘the best sparkling wine brand in NSW’.

Swift NV Cuvée
Swift Sparkling wines are single vineyard, high elevation wines that sit alongside the best sparkling wines from across Australia. The Cuvée is usually chardonnay dominant but embraces the complexity that pinot noir and reserve wines can bring to the blend. Long lees ageing (approx 96 months) adds richness. Low dosage enables greater purity and expression.
Swift NV Rosé
The Swift NV Rosé is sourced from a single vineyard with 2 different chardonnay blocks and 2 different pinot noir blocks, all hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, fermented & matured separately until blending. Tirage bottled just before spring following vintage. Beautiful paired with middle eastern flavours.
Swift Vintage
The Swift Vintage is created from the two classic Champagne varieties – Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Chardonnay excels in the Orange Wine Region and is the backbone of the Swift Sparkling range. Extended lees ageing, finely tuned expedition liqueur and dosage add complexity and texture. The Swift Vintage is not made every year – only when the conditions provide the perfect fruit for this special sparkling.
Swift Blanc de Noirs
For the first time the Blanc de Noirs combines the two traditional red grape varieties of the Champagne region – Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This wine has been inspired by some of Champagne’s notable grower producers from the Montagne de Reims. A sparkling that piques the interest of many.
Swift Blanc de Blancs
Two things stand out for this flagship sparkling – the purity of the fruit and the complexity after 10 years on lees. Aromas leap out of the glass. The palate is scintillating with acidity and tension. There is also richness and depth. This can only be achieved with patience. After 10 years the yeast from the secondary bottle fermentation have just about given everything they have to give. The more sophisticated dosage liqueur adds a new layer of texture. A truely special sparkling. Swift 2011 Blanc de Blancs was crowned Best Australian Sparkling at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships in London 2022.
