Printhie Wines is proud to announce that our Swift 2011 Blanc de Blancs has been awarded a prestigious Platinum Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026, one of the most respected and influential wine competitions in the world. The recognition places our flagship sparkling wine among the world’s finest, with only 16 Platinum Medals awarded globally in the Sparkling Wine category. Adding to this remarkable achievement, our Swift 2017 Vintage Rosé received a Gold Medal, while our Topography Chardonnay and Topography Pinot Gris were both awarded Silver Medals, showcasing the exceptional quality of wines produced from our cool-climate vineyards in Orange, New South Wales.
A World-Class Result for Orange Wine Region
The Decanter World Wine Awards attracted more than 17,000 entries from 58 countries and were judged through a rigorous blind-tasting process by 245 of the world’s leading wine experts, including Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers. Across all wine categories, only 196 wines received Platinum Medals, representing just 1.18% of entries, while 924 wines achieved Gold Medal status, accounting for only 5.56% of entries. To receive recognition at this level is an extraordinary accomplishment and highlights the international quality of Australian wine and the growing reputation of Orange as one of the country’s premier cool-climate wine regions.
