THE REAL REVIEW TASTING NOTE
Vibrant straw-gold hue. Rich aromas of yellow stone fruit, buttery toast and nougat. Deep and weighty with a serious intent. Ripe stone and apple fruits are still in play but the nougat, honey, toast and clarified butter characters are what ensures you stay captivated. Bead is super-fine and acidity is a background driver, all combining to carry all that complexing character very long across the palate to a finely wrought and crisp toned finish.

Established in 1996 by the Swift family, Printhie is one of the benchmark wineries of the high-altitude and cool Orange Wine Region. Their eponymously named sparkling embodies what top tier blanc de blancs is all about.
Winemaker Drew Tuckwell has left this 100% chardonnay on its lees for 10 years and it has developed a beguiling complexity over this extended period of time. There’s lashings of nougat, toast and honey, along with a super-fine bead and punchy acidity. This is world-class sparkling and a fabulous tribute to the vision of the Swifts.
