  • 2025 Halliday Wine Companion 95 pts

In this inaugural release of the Wattleview chardonnay we are looking to match fruit characteristics, oak style and lees stirring to the cool, high elevation site for the best possible expression of chardonnay. Beautiful dark citrus and stone fruit, with a creamy cashew finish, our Wattleview chardonnay has gentle tannins and a density and weight on the palate that adds layers of complexity.

Shanteh Wale Halliday Wine Companion review: “From a 1050m elevation site planted in the 1990s. Steely with blue stone and pumice. Pomelo flesh, white peach and shaved fennel. Silver needle tea with a wash of gently rolling acidity. Electric energy and a lovely grainy texture. Almond milk creaminess with a swirl of vanilla foam. Razor edge acidity – this wine will live a long time.”
