Swift NV Rosé #3

This is the Best Sparkling in NSW! Winner of the Best Sparkling Trophy at the NSW Wine Awards 2019 and Best Sparkling Trophy at the Orange Wine Show 2019. We've had the Best Sparkling in NSW two years running with the Swift Sparkling Cuvée awarded the Best Sparkling Trophy at the NSW Wine Awards in 2018. Swift hails from the elevated slopes of Orange, NSW. The cool climate and elevated vineyard sites are perfect for the production of traditional method sparkling wines. Hand picked fruit is gently handled and blended to create a range of premium sparkling wines now regarded as some of the best in Australia. Extended lees aging is a feature of the wines, rewarding with complexity yet retaining freshness and vibrancy. Chardonnay dominates this Rosé, as it does with all the current release Swift wines. Pinot noir adds richness to the palate while importantly offering a light pink rosé blush. It is a dry, savoury wine with a fine line of acid running from start to finish supported by soft strawberry fruit richness. Texture and weight is enhanced by 5 years of lees aging. Dosage: 5.0g/L Tirage date: August 2011 Disgorge date: September 2016 Time on lees: 60 months

Swift NV Cuvée #7

Winner of the Best Sparkling Trophy at the NSW Wine Awards 2018 and Best Sparkling Trophy and Best Wine at the Orange Wine Show 2018. We've had the Best Sparkling in NSW two years running with the Swift Sparkling Rosé awarded the Best Sparkling Trophy at the NSW Wine Awards in 2019. Swift Sparkling wines are single vineyard, high elevation wines that sit alongside the best sparkling wines from across Australia. The Cuvée is usually chardonnay dominant but embraces the complexity that pinot noir and reserve wines can bring to the blend. Long lees ageing (approx 60 months) adds richness. Low dosage enables greater purity and expressiveness. Source from a single vineyard with 2 different chardonnay blocks and 2 different pinot noir blocks, all hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, fermented & matured separately until blending. MLF is minimal to preserve acidity and freshness. Tirage bottled in early spring following vintage. Wonderful freshness, vibrancy and complexity which can only be achieved with great fruit, gentle handling and patience – time in bottle. Terrific intensity of white fruit, florals, strawberry, brioche & nuttiness. Fine mousse is lively on the palate. Delicately balanced dosage. Long fine palate. Dosage: 7.0g/L Tirage date: September 2013 Disgorge date: January 2019 Time on lees: 60 months

Mountain Range 2018 Chardonnay

One of the best varieties in Orange. Cool climate, high elevation vineyards, mix of barrel & tank fermentation, yeast lees aged 6 months. Modern Australian chardonnay. Citrus, stone fruit and a hint of tropical richness. Fresh and lively with fruit purity. Some bread dough and savoury oak complexity in the background. Good flavour intensity with excellent persistence. Nice balance, not overtly oaky but enough to add complexity.

Topography 2018 Chardonnay

Chardonnay is arguable the best performing variety, white or red, in the Orange region. This one demonstrates a mid-straw colour. Highly complex aromas and flavours of bright dark citrus, apple and floral fruit. Background nuttiness and toast from the oak, hints of struck matchstick from the solids. Gentle phenolic length and great persistence.

Mountain Range 2017 Shiraz

Bright colour. Fresh red blackberry, blueberry, black pepper and mixed spice. Attractive savoury oak adds complexity with cedar and a touch of toastiness. Very good flavour intensity and generous, rich texture. Fine tannins provide structural length.

Topography 2016 Shiraz

Dense and bright red colour. Immediate aromatic intensity of sweet dark berries and toasty, vanilla oak that is quite seductive. The palate offers juicy fruit and lovely savoury complexity, not only from oak but also whole bunches in the ferment. Great tannin balance and length. Immediately enjoyable.
