Swift hails from the elevated slopes of Orange, NSW. The cool climate and elevated vineyard sites are perfect for the production of traditional method sparkling wines. Hand picked fruit is gently handled and blended to create a range of premium sparkling wines now regarded as some of the best in Australia. Extended lees ageing is a feature of the wines, rewarding with complexity yet retaining freshness and vibrancy.

Our 9th disgorgement of Swift Rose is almost an even split of Chardonnay (49%) and Pinot Noir (51%), with just a touch more Pinot Noir right at the end as the dosage. It has a bright strawberries and cream nose with a nice savoury finish. A perfect aperitif, Swift Rose goes well with smoked salmon or fresh prawns

After 6 years on lees this wine has developed wonderful complexity. Now that it has been disgorged it will continue to develop, but down a different road - more along the lines of typical bottle maturation (i.e. less bright fruit flavours, more autolytic, savoury characters). It should drink well as it continues to evolve over the next 5 years.
