100% Estate grown. Cool climate, medium bodied, generous fruit, touch of spice, background oak. Shiraz is Australia’s most famous red variety and it does extremely well in Orange, producing a distinct regional style which is a little different from your standard big “Aussie” style. Bright colour. Generous fresh berry fruit mixed with a bit of pepper and spice. Attractive savoury oak adds complexity with cedar and a touch of toastiness and chocolate. Very good flavour intensity and generous, rich texture. Fine tannins provide lovely length. Not overwhelmed with dry tannins on the finish.

As a young wine this is looking very inviting and generous. This wine will continue to develop and evolve with further medium-term bottle aging taking on more savoury characters. It will easily take 5-7 years in good cellar conditions..
