Winery Information
In 2003 Printhie built a state of the art 350 tonne winery, designed to compliment the existing 100 year old woolshed that stands adjacent.
Built using traditional galvanized iron, the building blends into the farming countryside. The winery is built in a unique way so that it utilises an air cavity in the walls to cool the building in summer. All storage is contained inside the building reducing our cooling costs and usage over the hot summer months. Due to power restrictions all equipment has also been designed to be as energy efficient as possible.
We also offer a Contract Winemaking service with 100 tonnes of capacity reserved for this purpose. Rob not only has gained a great deal of notoriety for our wines but for those of our contract clients also.
Vintage 2005 we made 45 different wines.
